There are spots on his face, legs, and back, according to mother Stephanie.\n</p><div class='\"code-block' code-block-1>\n<div data-type='\"_mgwidget\"' data-widget-id='\"1756042\"'>\n\n<p>The condition affects 1 in 500 000 people and increases the risk of developing skin cancer, but other than that, the effects are only cosmetic.\n</p><p>Because of her son\u2019s spots, Stephanie feels guilty every single day.\n</p><p>She explains, \u201cYou know, you spend ten months doing everything you can to have a healthy and perfect pregnancy, and then you think you did something wrong.\u201d\n</p><p>Stephanie understands that her son is unique and that this will have an impact on their life. However, the family is currently working to spread the word about their son\u2019s unusual illness.\n</p><p>When Stephanie and Dan Dworksy first saw their newborn daughter, Kacy, they were taken aback.\n</p><p>On June 9, 2016, Kacy Daniel was born with melanocytic nevus, a skin condition that results in big black blotches all over the body.He was covered in \u201csatellites\u201d and had a Giant Arm Nevus on his left arm.\n</p><p>They were simply everywhere. His mother Stephanie informed CBS Los Angeles that her son had spots on his face, legs, and back.Aside from the social problems his parents worried would arise\u2014which is intolerable for a parent to even consider\u2014the condition affects 1 in 500 000 people and is associated with an elevated risk of skin cancer.\n</p><p>The spots\u2019 effects are entirely cosmetic otherwise.\n</p><p>However, Stephanie revealed in 2016 that her son\u2019s spots caused her to live with shame every day.\n</p><p>She remarked, \u201cYou know, you spend ten months doing everything you can to have a healthy pregnancy and a perfect pregnancy, and then you think you did something wrong.\u201d\n</p><div class='\"b-r' b-r--middle_content>\n<p>Stephanie understood that her baby was unique and that this would have an impact on their life.
