When you hear this touching story, you\u2019ll understand why.\n</p><p>&nbsp;\n</p><p><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/imgix.elitedaily.com%5C/elite-daily%5C/2015%5C/06%5C/15192319%5C/cc1.jpg?w=610&amp;fit=max&amp;auto=format&amp;q=70%5C%22" alt='\"\"'>\n</p><p>When officers arrived at the scene in\u00a0Brighton, Colorado, they found a family in a serious condition.
